In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the members of the Asian Pacific American (APA) Caucus would like to invite you to the Asian Pacific American Heritage and Legislative Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. It is our distinct privilege to co-host this year’s celebration along with Michigan Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission (MAPAAC), APIAVote-MI and the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

The celebration will take place in the Capitol Rotunda from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and is open to the public. We are honored to have Frank Wu as the Keynote Speaker for the event this year. A Detroit native, he was the first APA professor to teach at Howard Law School as well as the first APA to serve as Dean of Wayne State University Law School.
