WESTLAND, Mich., Oct. 26, 2018 — State Senator Hoon-Yung Hopgood (D–Taylor) is inviting local residents to join him at an upcoming movie showing and coffee hour.

Sen. Hopgood invites members of the community to his 4th Annual Free Veterans Day Movie Event on Friday, Nov. 9, at 12:30 p.m. in acknowledgment of the tremendous sacrifice and service of America’s military veterans. In cooperation with MJR Westland Grand Cinema 16, “Bohemian Rhapsody” (PG-13) — which is based on the story of Queen, their music, and the struggles and legacy of lead singer Freddie Mercury — will be shown. Tickets are limited to two per veteran and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. RSVP is required.

The coffee hour will provide an opportunity for citizens to meet with Sen. Hopgood and discuss current events in Lansing and the local district.
