Encourages public to share ideas, concerns at joint event with Rep. Lasinski

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Sen. Rebekah Warren (D–Ann Arbor) and Rep. Donna Lasinski (D–Scio Twp.) will be hosting a Women’s Issues Town Hall with residents on Wednesday, Aug. 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the Scio Township Hall in Ann Arbor. Discussion topics will include some of the most critical challenges facing women today, including pay equity, domestic violence and sexual assault, reproductive rights, and workforce and educational opportunities.

Sen. Warren represents citizens living in the cities of Ann Arbor, Milan, Saline and Ypsilanti, as well as the townships of Ann Arbor, Augusta, Pittsfield, Salem, Superior, York and Ypsilanti.

Rep. Lasinski represents citizens living in the cities of Ann Arbor, Chelsea and Saline, as well as the townships of Bridgewater, Dexter, Freedom, Lima, Lodi, Lyndon, Manchester, Northfield, Salem, Saline, Scio, Sharon, Sylvan and Webster.
