3 weeks ago, House Republicans slashed over half a billion dollars in funding for critical programs - including support for Flint kids. That money had been allocated and was going to be put to work, before it was deliberately ripped away from Michigan families.

While people from across the state were testifying about the need for critical funding for kids with cancer, child abuse victims, and public safety, House Republicans were in the next room bragging about slashing it.

Last night, we voted to restore critical funding that House Republicans ripped away from Michigan kids, families, and communities. Government should honor its commitments and we’re taking action to make the people who were counting on this funding whole.
