Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich on Snyder Administration’s Knowledge of Legionnaires’ Disease for Nearly a Year

LANSING, Mich. — Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich (D-Flint) issued the following statement following news that high-ranking officials in Gov. Snyder’s administration were aware of a surge in Legionnaires’ disease nearly one year ago:

“Once again, this administration knew for nearly a year that the lives of people in my community were in danger. They knew and they did nothing. Where is the moral fiber? At what point do they care that people are dying and take steps to actually address the issues?”
