Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich on Committee Passage of Flint Water Supplemental Budget

LANSING, Mich. — Senator Jim Ananich (D–Flint) released the following statement after the Senate Appropriations Committee passed a $126.7 million supplemental budget to address the Flint water crisis:

“These resources will make a real difference in the day-to-day lives of families in Flint — including help for replacing pipes and expanding critical health care access. I appreciate the commitment to moving this forward and will keep pushing to get this to the local community as fast as possible.”
