Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich on $20M federal grant for Flint roads

LANSING, Mich. — Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich (D–Flint) issued the following statement on the $20M federal grant awarded to Flint to help rebuild roads as the city replaces water lines:

“We needed some good news, and while there is still much work to be done, this grant is exactly the type of assistance that will help us start tackling our most difficult challenges — fixing our roads and replacing our pipes. We’re going to use these resources to get people to work improving Flint’s infrastructure, which will go a long way toward making the community safer for everyone.”
