Sen. Ananich on Engler’s expected resignation from MSU

LANSING, Mich. – Today, Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich (D-Flint) issued the following statement in response to John Engler’s expected resignation as president of Michigan State University:

“From the beginning he was never the right fit, but he had many opportunities to do right by the survivors of abuse at Michigan State University and repeatedly failed to do so. As an MSU graduate, I am relieved, and I expect my alma mater to seize this opportunity to establish a new leadership culture.”
