Although we are nearing the end of March is Reading Month, the joys and benefits of frequent reading should be celebrated every month! 📚🌷In recognition, I have asked my staff to pick out a few of their favorite children's books to share with you. While you may know that "Rain Makes Applesauce," by Julian Scheer, is a favorite of mine when choosing a book to read to children in my family, did you know that my Chief of Staff's top choice is "If You Give a Pig a Pancake," by Laura Numeroff? My Legislative Director picked "Night of The Ninjas" from "The Magic Treehouse" series, by Mary Pope Osborne, and my Constituent Relations Assistant selected the classic "Miss Pickerell Goes to Mars," by Ellen MacGregor! Lastly, my Legislative Assistant chose a collection of "Grimms' Fairy Tales" that has been on her bookshelf since childhood. Let me know some of your favorites down below! ... See MoreSee Less
