State Senator Jeff Irwin, yet this witch is not willing to "change the lives" of people whose rights have been violated by the Open Meetings Act so they can take elected officials to court and "Recover Attorney Fees and Court Costs" when "Declaratory Relief" is obtained! Jim Runestad ended up being a HUGE disappointment who was never truly committed to seeing the bill to repair the Open Meetings Act passed. Proseuctor Peter Lucido outright said, "I was more committed to helping that bill pass than its sponsor [Jim Runestad] was." Rob Wolchek should put ALL of you Legislature Losers in the HAALLLL OF SHAME! just for your hypocrisy and your lack of support for transparency! As recently as August of 2024, this man's rights were violated in Cottrellville. The guy was told he is NOT allowed speak AT ALL during the Agenda item of "Public Comments." Unfortunately, this is NOT something the State Reps or Senators of Michigan care about. Charlie Langton also is a disappointment for never speaking about this issue. Outside Legal Counsel PLC Attorney Philip L. Ellison took the time to voluntarily write this bill to repair the Open Meetings Act. Phil and I spoke in front of the Senate and House multiple times. The ONE and ONLY time the bill was voted on in a committee was when Peter J. Lucido put the bill on the Agenda for a vote and made sure the bill passed 8-0-1 with bi-partisan support. The bill ended up not passing because the corrupt Senate Leader Mike "Dark Money" Shirkey refused to place the bill on the Agenda for a vote - because Shirkey knew the bill the would pass. Sadly, Senator Jim Runestad didn't have the guts to publicly challenge Mike Shirkey the way Donald J. Trump or Michael Zoran would. This is similar to the way House Lead Tom "The Con" Leonard intentionally sent the bill to the WRONG committee and IGNORED the Official Request of State Rep Martin Howrylak to send the bill to the correct committee! Since 2015, the bill to repair the Open Meetings Act has NEVER ONCE been allowed to be voted on in the House - all because the corrupt crowd of losers such as Tom "The Con" Leonard, Graham "Full of It" Filler, and "Korrupt" Klint Kesto are just as bad as Mike "Dark Money" Shirkey. Donald Trump said it perfectly when he publicly said many times, "Michigan Senator Mike Shirkey is a RINO disgrace to the GOP." See, Jim Runestad, it was NOT difficult to "Publicly Oppose" a "Leader" the way Trump did. Corrupt people such as Andrew Beeler even LIED by saying they would sponsor the bill for five months, but never doing so. Beeler actually wrote, "I'm not willing to oppose Mike Shirkey." WHAT A WIMP!!! Beeler didn't even run again this term, because Beeler knew he would lose becaue of that! Trump also said it perfectly when Trump wrote a letter to delegates saying, "Do not support Tom Leonard for Attorney General. Tom Leonard is a disgrace to the GOP." Graham Filler previously worked in the office of Bill Schuette - who Attorney Phil Ellison and I easily defeated in the Michigan Court of Appeals for Schuette's corruption in a Quo Warranto lawsuit. While Graham Filler and Bill Schuette represented the Attorney General, they actually wrote FOUR TIMES, "I see no problem" with FOUR DIFFERENT Cottrellville Township Board members illegally living outside the township and being "Resident" and "Registered Voters" of different cities!!! The Michigan Bureau of Elections even had put it in writing saying "This position has been vacated for violations of MCL 201.3, MCL 168.368, and MCL 168.492." Yet, the corrupt Attorney General crowd of Bill Schuette and Graham Filler would not even perform their mandatory "duty" of "Investigating Further" when "Clear Evidence" was provided to them in the form of a Court Transcript and FOIA documents confirming those people were "Residents" and "Registed Voters" of other municipalities that had "Vacated" their elected positions! Tom "The Con" Leonard and "Korrupt" Klint Kesto now even work as "Consultants" who keep their "Clients" private without revealing that information to the public. The Detroit News wrote an excellent article about how Tom Leoanrd and Klint Kesto are corrupt and do not support transparency at all. They are the reasons why Michigan ranks #50 for the "Worst Transparency" in the Nation. I thought the Democrats might produce different results this term, but they didn't. Disgraced Senator Winnie "The Loser" Brinks, Senator Stephanie "Communist Change" Chang, Jeff Irloser, and State Rep "Sloppy Joe" Tate are just as much a disgrace to the Democrat party as Jim "Sit on His Butt" Runestad, Tom "The Con" Leonard, Mike "Dark Money" Shirkey, Graham "Full of It" Filler, and Lee "Sex Criminal" Chatfield are to the Republican Party. None of them want to see "Transparency" improved in Michigan. Governor Gretchen Whitmer even refused to sign the bill to make it so the Michigan Governor and Michigan Legislature are no longer "immune" to the Freedom of Information Act. This shows how corrupt Whitmer is. This also ENDED Whitmer's chance of EVER being a President or Vice President. When your state ranks #50 for the Worse FOIA in the Nation, and you don't sign the bill to improve it, you shot your own political career in the foot. This bill to improve the Freedom of Information Act supposedly had overwhelming bi-partisan support. The Legislature could have overcome the veto from Whitmer. Yet, we never saw Winnie "The Loser" Brinks or "Sloppy Joe" Tate do anything to challenge Whitmer. This shows they never had any true committment to seeing the Michigan Freedom of Information Act improved. The Democrats WANT the Governor, State Reps, and Senators to remain "immune" to the Freedom of Information Act, because they do NOT want to share information with the public. This clearly shows "Sloppy Joe" Tate has terrible taste in transparency. Perhaps if Tate wasn't such a narcissist that he is always making "Highlight Videos" from when he played football at Michigan State, he would be able to do what is right by challenging Whitmer. Those Highlight Videos are stupid, Joe - you were a Linemen, not a ballcarrier skill-posiition player! All you ever do in your videos is walk back to the huddle! The fact is, our Legislature in Michigan is controlled by the corrupt Lobbyists of the Michigan Townships Association and Michigan Municipal League. And that is truly terrible!
