A PFAS town hall happening Thursday evening is giving West Michiganders the chance to have a one-on-one with officials working to clean-up toxic PFAS contamination in local drinking water.
State Sen. Winnie Brinks, D-Grand Rapids, is hosting the town hall event at the East Grand Rapids Commission Chambers, located 750 Lakeside Drive SE. It will be from 5 until 7:30 p.m.
Attendees will be able to hear some of the latest information and action plans for cleaning up PFAS in the local drinking water. Several representatives of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will be available to speak one-on-one about individual health questions or concerns for 60 minutes before the town hall begins.
