Sen. Bullock aims to support communities in 100th Legislature

LANSING, Mich. — Sen. Marshall Bullock (D–Detroit) took the oath of office today to serve the citizens of Michigan’s 4th Senate District.

“I grew up in Detroit, and now it’s time for me to give back to the community that has given so much in my life,” Sen. Bullock said. “It’s time for the Michigan Legislature to listen to the people of Detroit, and that starts today. We’re going to fight for stronger communities, a world-class education, auto insurance reform, and access to affordable health care and mental health programs.”

Sen. Bullock begins his first term in the Michigan Senate with his Chief of Staff Bobby Lawrence, Legislative Director Kurmmell W. Knots and Legislative Aide Emily Krupp.

The 4th Senate District is located in Wayne County and includes the cities of Allen Park, Detroit, Lincoln Park and Southgate.
