Corporate Accountability and Consumer Protection

I am committed to ensuring that corporations are accountable to the people they serve, which is why I am advocating for legislation to combat robocalls and online ticket-bots, increase protections surrounding data privacy, and crack down on skyrocketing insurance premiums so that residents can feel the relief they need while still being protected.

Housing & Rental Solutions

Michigan is continuing to experience a housing crisis with both rising costs and the lack of housing available. I am looking at both policy and budget solutions to increase affordable new build and re-development options, find new attainable pathways for homeownership, keep families in their homes, and reduce costs for renters.

Supporting Workers & Families

From addressing health care and the cost of basic needs to rights in the workplace — I remain committed to supporting working class people by championing legislation that improves maternal health outcomes, ensures that each worker and their families are protected, puts more money in the pockets of Michiganders, and promotes clean air and water for all.

Investing in Safe Communities

Our state budget is a reflection of our values, and our communities cannot grow if we do not feel safe. That’s why I’m committed to delivering a budget that makes vital investments in the areas of community violence intervention programs, jail-diversion services, public safety resources, and community mental and behavioral health.
