Sen. Chang on Gov. Whitmer’s plan to protect drinking water

LANSING, Mich. – State Sen. Stephanie Chang (D–Detroit) has issued the following statement on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s State of the State address, during which she spoke about

Increasing access to clean, affordable water.

“Michiganders should not have to worry about the quality of the water that comes out of their tap or whether they will be able to afford the bill for this basic human right. It’s time our Great Lakes State took clear and bold action on safe, quality and affordable water for the people of Michigan, and I believe Gov. Whitmer, working together with the legislature, can get it done.”
