LANSING, Mich. (July 12, 2024) — Sen. John Cherry (D-Flint) issued the following statement on yesterday’s passing of friend and former state Rep. Tim Sneller:
“I am deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of my lifelong friend, mentor, and colleague — former State Representative Tim Sneller. Tim’s dedication to public service and unwavering commitment to our community have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
“Throughout his career, Tim exemplified the true spirit of leadership, always advocating for what was right and just. His guidance and wisdom have been a source of inspiration for me and countless others. As we mourn this loss, we also celebrate the tremendous legacy he leaves behind.
“Rest in peace, Tim. Your memory will forever be cherished, and your contributions will never be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
