While Congress weaponizes the federal budget, health care benefits for 70 million Americans — including 2.6 Michiganders — remain at risk, particularly for seniors, children, individuals with disabilities, and low-income families.
Decimating Federal Agencies
As DOGE haphazardly carries out its reckless mission to downsize the federal government through the mass firings of public servants, programs to ensure the safety and security of Americans are put in jeopardy.
Impact of Proposed Federal Medicaid Cuts
The cuts to Medicaid being proposed by Republicans in DC would devastate Michigan, kicking hundreds of thousands of Michiganders off their health insurance, forcing rural hospitals to close, and driving up costs for everyone else.
