LANSING, Mich. (Sept. 15, 2021) — Sen. Jeff Irwin (D–Ann Arbor), Sen. Adam Hollier (D-Detroit), Sen. Erika Geiss (D-Taylor) and Rep. Felicia Brabec (D-Pittsfield Township) will host a virtual press conference tomorrow morning on legislation they have introduced to ensure the rights of students facing a disciplinary hearing at school are protected. They will be joined by advocates of the legislation and individuals previously affected by current school suspension policies.
