Dear Neighbor,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend with family and friends!\u00a0<\/span>In between the barbecues, lake days,\u00a0<\/span>and fireworks, the Fourth of July is\u00a0<\/span>a great time\u00a0<\/span>to be thankful for the freedoms and opportunities we hold as\u00a0<\/span>Americans,\u00a0<\/span>while also reflecting on the work we still\u00a0<\/span>have to\u00a0<\/span>do to secure the American Dream for all people<\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/senatedems.com\/hertel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2024\/07\/Hertel-Caucus-Walk-scaled.jpg” _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” title_text=”Hertel-Caucus-Walk” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.3″ _module_preset=”default” theme_builder_area=”post_content” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]

With the summer\u00a0<\/span>officially\u00a0<\/span>here,\u00a0<\/span>we have\u00a0<\/span>been busy connecting with folks at community events, city council meetings, and more. Our team has also begun knocking on doors throughout District 12 to hear about the issues that matter most to\u00a0<\/span>residents.\u00a0<\/span>Since we\u00a0<\/span>unfortunately\u00a0<\/span>cannot\u00a0<\/span>knock\u00a0<\/span>every door in the district, I wanted to reach out a provide an update\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0<\/span>what\u00a0<\/span>we\u2019ve\u00a0<\/span>been\u00a0<\/span>working\u00a0<\/span>on, including some investments we secured in the 2025 state budget to help build up our community.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
