Sen. Hollier: Auto Insurance is a Process

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 wasn’t passed in one try. It took three attempts in 1957, 1960 and 1964 to pass a comprehensive law that protected civil and labor rights this country. We have to take this approach when finding a plan for a new auto insurance system, said Sen. Adam Hollier (D-Detroit). Senate Bill 1 is the first step in a process to lower auto insurance rates in Michigan. This is the first step in this process, but it better not be the last.
