Making Your Voice Heard Through the Census
Join a virtual phone forum with Michigan State Senator Adam Hollier
In 2020 the national Census will determine whether critical resources for our community grow, or get steered to other states. It could mean we have more or less representation in our local, state, and federal government. And the process of conducting the Census could mean there are a number of good jobs available locally to those who want to make sure we have an accurate count.
To hear more, join State Senator Adam Hollier (Detroit) and Kerry Ebersole Singh, Michigan’s Statewide Census Director, for a Telephone Town Hall meeting on Thursday, September 26th from 6:30 to 7:30pm EST .
By joining the call, you will be able to connect directly with your elected officials to learn about what is at stake, find out what is new about this Census, and ask questions about how you can get more involved.
