7 locations being tested for dioxane along Ann Arbor’s Allen Creek

Two Ann Arbor lawmakers who’ve been concerned about the Gelman plume for years and have been lobbying for more action to address it are announcing new pollution cleanup legislation this week.

House Democratic Floor Leader Yousef Rabhi and state Sen. Jeff Irwin, both Ann Arbor Democrats, want to see Michigan enact a law that requires polluters to clean up contamination they cause.
