Sen. Irwin Offers Amendment for Safe Elections

The Secretary of State’s office is one of the most direct ways citizens interact with our state government. The department works elections, including the new redistricting committee, and offers us services like licences and IDs. Sen. Jeff Irwin (D-Ann Arbor) offers an amendment during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing to fully fund the Secretary of State department and the new redistricting committees.
