LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Sean McCann (D–Kalamazoo) today issued the following statement on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s State of the State Address and her focus on protecting Michigan’s drinking water:

“Residents in Kalamazoo County, and across the state, should be able to trust that the drinking water flowing from their taps is protected from PFAS. I am grateful for Gov. Whitmer’s commitment to clean water. I look forward to working with her administration on the issues that matter to so many families — from protecting our water to investing in our schools and fixing our roads.”
