LANSING — State Sen. Sean McCann (D–Kalamazoo) today issued the following statement on the passage of no-fault auto insurance reform legislation:
“I am encouraged by and voted in favor of today’s bipartisan auto insurance reform package. Michigan drivers deserve the opportunity to realize meaningful relief on car insurance rates. This legislation also finally creates a process to hold insurance companies accountable and provide protections for vulnerable residents. I look forward to continuing this spirit of cooperation as we continue to tackle Michigan’s toughest issues.”
