McMorrow echoes Whitmer call to tap into talent pipeline, create jobs

LANSING — Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D–Royal Oak) has issued the following statement on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s State of the State Address, during which she highlighted the importance of improving our roads and infrastructure to attracting talent and jobs to Michigan:

“Southeast Michigan is the heart of innovation and where we know businesses want the best workers. It’s critical that we invest in the resources and talent it takes to make economic growth possible, and this means fixing our roads and training our workforce so that Michigan companies see the talent pipeline they seek is right here in our state.”

Sen. McMorrow represents the 13th Senate District in Oakland County that includes Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Clawson, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak and Troy.
