Stay Home. Save Lives.

As most of you already know, this morning Governor Whitmer issued a “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order. We all play an integral role in successfully curbing the impact that COVID-19 has on our families and neighbors, and while I know this order will be a hardship for many, I believe it is necessary to save potentially hundreds of thousands of lives.

My staff and I are working hard every day to ensure our residents get the support and answers they need. Please check my website for resources to help you and your family. For those who have questions about the state’s actions to mitigate the spread of coronavirus, please call the COVID-19 Hotline at 1-888-535-6136 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

In addition, while my staff and I are working remotely, we will be checking our email and phones regularly each day. You can reach us or by phone at 517-373-2523. We will respond to messages and emails as quickly as we possibly can, but please have patience as we are getting hundreds of emails and calls daily.

I know this is a scary time, but together, we can — and we will — make it through this.

Stay home, and stay well.
