hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Team McMorrow was there for the dedication of\u00a0the Judge Jamie Wittenberg\u00a0Memorial\u00a0Wall at the\u00a044<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0District Court in Royal Oak\u00a0this week. The wall\u00a0commemorates\u00a0the life and career of\u00a0the late\u00a0Judge Jamie Wittenberg. He was k<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">nown for\u00a0his\u00a0kindness,\u00a0positivity,\u00a0community focus, and\u00a0always seeing the good in people. He\u00a0expanded the successful Sobriety Court program as well as introducing a Teen Court to support at-risk youth.\u00a0Judge Wittenberg served as an assistant prosecutor for Wayne and Macomb\u00a0Counties and\u00a0was\u00a0elected\u00a0as a\u00a045-A District Court Judge for Berkley.\u00a0After a state merger in\u00a02015, he\u00a0became a judge of the newly created 44th District Court serving Berkley and Royal Oak. Judge Wittenberg was\u00a0diagnosed with\u00a0aggressive\u00a0brain cancer\u00a0in 2019\u00a0and despite\u00a0radiation,\u00a0chemotherapy,\u00a0and multiple surgeries,\u00a0he\u00a0was committed to handling\u00a0his full docket.
