LANSING, Mich. (June 2, 2022) — Sen. Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield) invites members of the community to his Annual Senior Summit that will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 6th in the Southfield Pavilion at Southfield City Hall.
A panel of speakers from various public offices, organizations, and agencies will be at this event, including special guest Attorney General Dana Nessel, U.S. Rep. Brenda L. Lawrence (D-Southfield), Rep. Kyra Harris Bolden (D-Southfield), Area Agency on Aging 1B, and the Disability Network of Oakland/Macomb.
Issues important to seniors will be discussed — including services available, how to prevent identity theft, and how to avoid scams. Priority Health will also be onsite to provide health and wellness screenings for anyone interested in receiving one.
Light refreshments will be served, and all are invited to attend, including reporters and local press.
