LANSING, Mich. (Jan. 12, 2023) — Today, Sen. Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield) issued the following statement regarding his committee assignments for the 102nd Michigan Legislature:
“I’ve spent my tenure in the Legislature working to ensure Michiganders have the tools to understand their state government and the rights to change their state government. Those values will guide my work as Chairman of the Senate Elections and Ethics Committee,” Sen. Moss said. “The State of Michigan must provide its residents with a transparent government and an accessible ballot box.”
In addition to chairing the Senate Elections and Ethics Committee, Sen. Moss will serve as Chairman of the influential Senate Regulatory Affairs Committee. He was also appointed as:

Majority Vice Chair of the Senate Finance, Insurance and Consumer Protection Committee,

Member of the Senate Local Government Committee,

Member of the Senate Economic and Community Development Committee,

Member of the Senate Government Operations Committee, and

Member of the Legislative Council.
