LANSING, Mich. (Feb. 25, 2026) — Sen. Jeremy Moss (D-Bloomfield) issued the following statement in response to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s “State of the State” address tonight:
“It has been an honor to partner with Gov. Whitmer over these last eight years. As I head into my final year in the Legislature, it will be all gas–no breaks to deliver solutions that will lower costs for Michigan families.
“I am determined to continue to fight for real relief – from reducing medical debt to building more affordable housing to providing training for our future workforce. As the chaos in Washington is squeezing household budgets, we must roll up our sleeves in Lansing to make bold investments and advance commonsense legislation that tackles the issues Michiganders are facing across the state.”
