LANSING, Mich. – Sen. Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield) today issued a statement in support of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s directives requiring greater transparency and accountability in the use of state government resources:
“I’m encouraged that Gov. Whitmer is making ethics and accountability a priority of her new administration with today’s executive directives. Michigan currently ranks dead last among all state governments when it comes to transparency, but it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m eager to be her active partner in the state Senate to champion policies that shed light on government actions and how they impact the people we serve.”
