Sen. Moss on being named Democratic Assistant Minority Leader

LANSING, Mich. – Today Sen. Jeremy Moss (D–Southfield) issued the following statement after being selected to serve as the Assistant Minority Leader for the Michigan Senate Democratic Caucus:

“I am honored to work with my Senate colleagues and our governor, alongside Leader Ananich, as Assistant Leader of the Senate Democratic Caucus. A divided government can present a series of challenges, and a series of opportunities. I will be looking for the opportunities in the State Senate to push for bipartisan solutions to boost wages, improve our schools and invest in our infrastructure — while never shying away from the progressive values instilled within me from the 11th Senate District.”
