About Michigan's new cage-free eggs law and the spike in egg prices . . .
Michigan's new cage-free eggs law, which takes effect in 2025, affects only egg producers with 3,000 or more egg-laying hens. So, this new law doesn't affect small farmers and backyard farms at all. Michigan's big egg producers have known this law was coming since 2009 and most of them have already made the full transition to cage free. Over the past few years, many other states have enacted cage-free egg laws—such as Arizona, California, Massachusetts, and Ohio.
According to MDARD, they are seeing an impact on egg supply from the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) nationwide, which is the main cause of the spike in egg prices. ... See MoreSee Less

So sad, I hadn’t heard about the ice fishing tragedy.
People aren't driving mindfully. Whether it's their phones, DUI, being tired, not knowing how to drive in inclement weather, or losing control of the vehicle, people are continuously driving irresponsibly.
