I asked this question to a Michigan climate scientist back in March of 2024. Unfortunately, my question is no longer a hypothetical as President Trump just pulled the United States back out of the Paris Climate Accord. I strongly disagree with that decision.
"If former President Trump were to become President and take us back out of the Paris Climate Agreement, what would the damage be to your efforts as a scientist working to slow down the climate crisis?"

We have wood burning power plants that we plug in electric cars and bikes to. We are destroying 1,000’s of acres of Michigan farm land and forest for solar panels. Farming should have been our first strategy for climate change.
