Five Senate Republicans joined all Senate Democrats this evening in passing a bill that REINSTATES the $645 million that 16 House Republicans voted to claw back from organizations like Wigs4Kids with cancer; Kids-TALK, for kids who have been sexually abused; and Rx Kids, for mothers and infants in low-income communities.
In passing this bill, we are giving Michigan House Republicans another chance to redeem themselves to outraged Michiganders and, more importantly, to do the right thing.
