DETROIT, Mich. (May 20, 2021) — Sen. Sylvia Santana (D–Detroit) invites residents to grab their computer and come chat with her from the comfort and safety of their own home or office on Friday, May 21st for a virtual community conversation on Facebook. Joining her will be Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, Michigan’s chief medical executive and chief deputy director for health, along with Denise Fair from the Detroit Health Department and Mona Makki from ACCESS Community Health and Research Center.

The discussion will focus on the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine and the effort underway to get folks vaccinated in Senate District 3 and the greater Detroit area. All are invited to attend and ask questions.
