Yesterday , my colleague senator Chang testified on SB 296–297, a bipartisan bill package with Senator Ed McBroom to limit mandatory nurse overtime in Michigan.
Nurses cannot safely care for patients after working 16 or more hours straight. Exhaustion puts patients at risk and is driving too many nurses out of the profession.
