LANSING, Mich. (April 3, 2023) — Sen. Sue Shink (D-Northfield Township) and Michigan Senate and House Democrats will host a happy hour in honor of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s recent signing of Senate Bill 4, which expands the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act to provide protection from discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
