Homeowner installations should count, as well. Too often, these programs are tied to using NABCEP-certified installers (or, similarly, a registered/licensed installer). They are inspected by AHJs for compliance with codes, and that’s all thag matters for safety. This effects those low and middle income folks the most who may have more brains and backs capability than access to upfront capital.
