LANSING, Mich. – State Sen. Paul Wojno (D–Warren) has been appointed to serve as a member of the Senate Elections Committee, Senate Health Policy and Human Services Committee, and the Senate Regulatory Reform Committee.

I look forward to working together with my colleagues across the aisle to find ways we can have better accountability in our government and elections process, access to quality health care, and affordable prescription drug prices for all Michigan families and seniors.”
Before being elected to the Michigan Senate, Sen. Wojno served as the Warren City Clerk from 2007 to 2018, during which time he successfully managed the oversight of many federal, state and local elections. As State Representative from 1996 to 2002, he served in the Michigan House of Representatives on the House Committee on Health Policy, as well as the House Committee on Regulatory Reform.
Sen. Wojno represents the citizens of the 9th Senate District in Macomb County that includes the cities of Center Line, Clinton Township (southern portion), Eastpointe, Fraser, Roseville and Warren.
