LANSING, Mich. (June 24, 2022) — Sen. Paul Wojno (D-Warren) today issued the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in their opinion to uphold Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization:
“Today’s Supreme Court decision to overturn the settled law of Roe v. Wade is beyond disappointing. This decision will have a grave impact on women across the U.S. and remove access to essential health care resources, and is not an accurate reflection of the values of many Michiganders.”
