As we see the cost of everyday items and necessities rise, from food and clothing to prescriptions and housing, it’s the people struggling to make ends meet who are hit hardest.
Today, the Senate passed my legislation that will give Michiganders extra breathing room during challenging economic times by boosting the maximum number of weeks and benefit amount workers could qualify for from the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency.
