Restrictive Covenants Removal Fair

Last December, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed then-State Rep. Sarah Anthony’s bipartisan bill to create a process for the removal of discriminatory language in housing covenants.

Now, Ingham County residents are welcome to join State Senator Sarah Anthony and Ingham County Register of Deeds Derrick Quinney for a “Restrictive Covenants Removal Fair”. Residents are encouraged to bring deeds that include discriminatory language so that it can be removed. To RSVP, please email SenSAnthony@senate.michigan.gov.
