LANSING — State Sen. Rosemary Bayer (D–Beverly Hills) today issued the following statement on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s budget proposal:
“Michigan has its fair share of challenges, but we also have incredible opportunities ahead. I was hired by the people of our district to solve problems. Gov. Whitmer’s budget proposal is a first step in our conversations to address the issues Oakland County families care about most: schools, roads and safe, clean water. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves, taking a closer look at the details of her proposal and working with her administration to pass a final budget that makes sense for our families, kids and communities.”
