Yesterday, I attended the Governor's State of the State Address for the final time as your State Senator. It was a great chance to reflect on the past seven years and remember the big accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement that presented themselves along the way. I was also reminded of the long road ahead; the significant work that must be undertaken to ensure Michiganders can continue to accomplish their goals and plan for bright futures in the great state we call home. I am looking forward to working hard to lay some of that groundwork during my last year in the legislature.
I had a tremendous time with my guest, Farmington Hills Mayor Theresa Rich, who was kind enough to join me to listen to the address.
