I had such a tremendous time at the 6th Annual Farmington Area Juneteenth Celebration at First AME Church - Farmington Hills over the weekend! I also attended the Juneteenth Community Dialogue, which took place last Thursday. I thought that this year's theme, "A Time to Break Silence," inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1967 address at Manhattan’s Riverside Church, was especially salient.
