Last week, the Michigan Senate voted to pass SB 1086, otherwise known as Donna's Law. SB 1086 would allow Michiganders to voluntarily add their names to a temporary or an indefinite do-not-sell list for the purchase of firearms. These lists would be tied to the national background check system to prevent individuals from impulsively purchasing a gun.
