On average adults males spend 1/4 of their life sitting in traffic congestion. We need extensive public transportation investments help people move around as well as be able to work and do other things if they don’t have access to a car. 1 broken toe can cause someone to lose their ability to drive and then their jobs and homes

As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, I wanted to share some photos taken at an organization that truly inspires me. Centro Multicultural La Familia in Pontiac is a mission-driven group that provides a number of essential services to the broader community - not only clients of Latin descent. They assist the community in the areas of mental health, advocacy for victims of crime, health education and promotion, and so much more. Today, for instance, they held a health workshop in Madison Heights to screen individuals for common signs of liver issues!! The third photo of this post features one of my favorite murals in Michigan.
