It was a beautiful day in Brownstown as I was able to present Supervisor Ed Smith and the Brownstown Board of Trustees a ceremonial check from the State of Michigan for $3.5 million!

As Brownstown’s only legislator who proudly voted YES on the budget, we secured a record investment for our community — including $1.5M for Township Hall renovations and $2M for the Leland Street bridge in the south end.

Putting the needs of my community first has always been my top priority, and this was an investment that I was very proud to secure as we continue to move Brownstown forward.

Didn't you guys just pass a bill to take teachers pensions

Thank you to the School-Community Health Alliance of Michigan for awarding me a Legislative champion award for our work to support school-based health clinics!

I appreciate our Corewell Romulus site at Romulus High School and will continue working to expand these opportunities for more Michigan students to receive the care they need.
