LANSING, Mich. (Oct. 25, 2023) — Following the announcement that a tentative agreement has been reached between Ford and UAW that includes a 25% increase for factory workers and higher wage maximums, among other items, Sen. Darrin Camilleri (D-Trenton) released the following statement:

“Starting at the Wayne Assembly plant, UAW workers across the country stood up and made their voices heard to win a fair contract. Many of my constituents sacrificed greatly during this 41-day strike so that UAW Ford workers could all win together. I look forward to seeing the details and results of the ratification vote, and for Stellantis and GM to get to a deal, too. Solidarity forever.”
