It’s sad to see Downriver Republican state representatives who voted to eliminate free breakfast and lunch funding, CTE programs, special funding for isolated districts like Grosse Ile, and more.

Under the House Republican plan:

Flat Rock Schools lose 📉 $565k

Taylor Schools lose 📉 $6.5 MILLION

Riverview Schools lose 📉 $515k

Wyandotte Schools lose 📉$1.4 MILLION

Woodhaven Schools lose 📉 $800k

This is not a “shutdown prevention plan” it’s a student services cut.

This administration needs to stop targeting our community members and ripping families apart in order to serve a political agenda.
